Luckily I have wonderful friends who offered to help me check some things off the list. So tonight, before heading to a Monster truck rally (more on that later), Sara cooked us up an amazing dinner and made us veggie based smoothies to drink, which was number 4 on my list. I was nervous because #1. I hate V8, number #2, I've never had a veggie smoothie before, and #3, the drink was green.
BUT, it was ah-mazing.
I guzzled it down so fast! She made it with pineapples, orange juice (just a little), frozen mango, and spinach. It. Was. Divine. Here are some pics:

I looooove smoothies. I've often thought of adding spinach, but haven't yet! I like to make mine with frozen berries of any kind, or cherries, or peaches, etc (I just get them in the frozen food section). Then I'll usually add a banana (or just a half) or other non-frozen fruit I have around, some milk or yogurt, and a squirt of chocolate sauce. Oh, and honey!! I've made them with frozen OJ before, too, instead of the milk. I love smoothies. Wait, did I mention that already? Congrats on the milestone!!
Green Monster
2 cups spinach
1 cup skim milk
1/2 cup plain fat free yogurt
1 tbsp. peanut butter
1 banana
6 cubes ice
So good and healthy! And filling!
