We interrupt this Wednesday Thoughts for the following important question:
Which is more satisfying:
Crumpling paper in anger?
or
Ripping it in anger?
My coworker and I debated this for awhile after he handed me a piece of paper I didn't want to see and I "took care of it." Discuss.

Ripping it in anger.
Depends on who gave you the paper. If the person is looking, say if it's Justin....I prefer to make eye contact and rip it, while wearing a satisfied smile. Have you been crumpling paper in anger again? Have you thrown an ice cold glass of water on any of the new people yet?
Kathy, it was Justin (of course). I crumpled in anger and loved every minute of it. I thought of you since the last time I did that was a year ago when you were here. It is SO satisfying!
Crumpling hands down!
This would be fluff.
crumpling it! Unless you are trying to make a point of destroying the soul of the person who gave it to you, and then you should rip and then crumple up the pieces.
Or it's just a funny conversation to lighten the mood of the day.
People take things way too seriously.
I would crumple the paper. Very satisfying.
Oh, and I say ripping it in front of the person who gave it to you. Makes a real point.
there is no coming back from ripping and I have to agree with Christi in front of the person is even better.
Crumpling to me is just a teaser :)
I smell a poll...
What's up with all the anonymous comments lately? seriously?
I like fluff. Poll! Poll! Poll!
I think I would be pretty satisfied with either one though ripping does have more finality to it. :)
SO RIPPING!
Crumpling: it makes more noise.
Crumpling! Ripping happens too fast and doesn't make enough noise. You can keep a good crumple going for quite a while. And then of course there's the toss of the crumpled item into the corner. You can't effectively toss a ripped piece of paper. Just thinking about it makes me want to crumple something.
Crumple!! Mmmm...so satisfying!
I like ripping it because then there is no going back! What is done, is done! lol
Crumple for sure. Tearing it is so fleeting, and there is no resistance.
Why is this an either or question? What's wrong with both?!
Definitely ripping it. It just gives you a burst of satisfaction that a mere crumpling does not.

I like to crumple and rip at the same time.
