I've been criticised lately for saying in this blog that I'm kind of looking forward to fall. Let me rephrase: I honestly and truly wish summer would never end! But since it will (but not for several more weeks), I'm trying to embrace it. Plus, it's still warm out. Therefore, it's still summer. So there's no need to really think about fall yet. Unless you want to (which I kind of do).
In other thoughts, I've been wondering lately if I watch too much tv. Since it's rerun season, I've mostly been watching tv on dvds or online, with Big Brother being the exception. Of course, my main obsession right now is the Brady Bunch, as you know. But I've watched all the episodes I own so I guess I'll have to move on soon - anyone have any suggestions of shows I should watch next?
Since I've been blogging a lot lately, I've been trying to think of new things to write about. There's still a lot you guys don't know about me. My mental colander (filter) will still keep some things from coming out - personal things, and other stuff (I could go on a bit about gross subjects but I shan't*,**). But I'm definitely willing to be a tiny bit more open.
Case in point: here's a little tidbit most of you don't know about me:
I don't like uppercase "I"'s. I much prefer lower case "i"'s. The upper case "I" just isn't as pleasing to the eye as the lower case i. It feels pretentious or something. But of course I use it anyway, because I'll never be as free as e.e. cummings to do whatever I want with the English language.
At this point in writing this post, I have an urge to go back and delete the last paragraph. But i think i'll leave it as it is.
And lastly in Wednesday Thoughts, I'm excited to be blogging more. Don't worry, I will try to stay away from super boring subjects like which letter is my second least favorite after the upper case "I." But I will tell you more about things I like, things I'm thinking about, and who my favorite reader (of this blog) is. Also, who my least favorite reader is. If there is any subject you'd like to hear my thoughts on, please feel free to ask (insert cricket noises here).
Happy Wednesday!
*I said "shan't." Just wanted to make sure you saw that so you know how smart I am.
** I'm referring to barfing, which I have some funny things to say about. But I like you guys too much to do this to you, sadly.

Oooooh! "Shan't!!" VERY fancy. This blog just got more high-class. (Thanks for leaving out the barfing stuff, which would've canceled out your "shan't.") Interesting about the pretentious upper case I. I think my least favorite letter is the upper case cursive Z. Mostly just because it looks ridiculous and nothing like an upper case Z and I hate writing it. So I never do - my upper case Zs are never in cursive. I'm tempted to do away with lower case cursive zs, too, since they often look just like lower case cursive ys, and who needs that? My favorite letter (to write, at least) is the upper case cursive V. Also very fancy and has such flourish!
Wow, I didn't realize how much I had to say on that.
As for tv suggestions, I woke up this morning with "Werewolf Bar mitzvah" in my head, so you can tell what I've been watching. I would suggest revisiting old favorites like Friends and Psych, maybe? You know I love me some Royal Pains and White Collar, too, so I'll toss those in the mix. :)
I completely agree that shan't and barfing don't belong in the same post, even if you are saying you shan't barf.
I am looking forward to fall too. School has already started, so it is weird that it is still hot and I feel like I should be taking the kids to the pool/beach, but can't due to school. I really LOVE LOVE fall, and am addicted to dressing my kids in cute orange, brown, and green harvesty colors, so it is driving me crazy that it is still so hot and I can't put them in adorable fall school outfits and that I can't get cider here yet!!! I am going to be in MI in about 3 weeks and plan to hit as many cider mills as possible while I am there. I LOVE LOVE FALL!!!!! I love summer too, but can't wait for some CIDER AND DONUTS from Parmenters or 3 Cedars.
You wrote "shan't" and I read "shart", because I am 12. I prefer the uppercase I because it is vertically symmetric. You don't belong in the middle square of the Brady Bunch! Top square, because Carol is way cuter than Alice.
You should definitely watch MI:5 - all of the seasons are on netflix. It is the British Alias, without the science fiction story lines and with hot British guys from Jane Austen movies :) Seasons 7-9 are the best - Richard Armitage is in those. :) And if you don't know who Richard Armitage is - you should also watch North and South (not the civil war one, the British one) :)
I just bought the first season of the Mary Tyler Moore Show on DVD from the Borders going out of biz-nass sale. TV on DVD is bomb!
I love your photoshopping skills. Elizabeth Brady looks amazing!
I don't like the cursive captial F. I just can't make it look good no matter how I write it. Very frustrating.
I, along wIth all your readers, are delIghted you dIdn't delete your paragraph about your least favorIte letter, I shan't name It.
I think we should all call you ElIzabeth from now on.
