Here are some things I often think along with what I choose to say instead. Initially I just typed it out, but blogger was being a butthead about making columns so I had to make this (this is more fun anyway):
I feel bad even writing "Wacko Jacko," since Michael Jackson passed away, may he rest in peace.
What thoughts do you filter?

I often think "shut-up!" but I say "please hush!" instead. :)
t-stupid s-interesting
My list is way too long... When I was teaching, I always said, "shuuu....sh!!" in order to stop myself from adding "-ut up." I recently almost said "awesome spice" but didn't want to have to wash my mouth out with soap, so I filtered. I have more of a problem with stopping myself from eye rolling than saying things. It's more involuntary and gives way too much away!
Unfortunately I'm the uncensored version. One of the many things that I offer for the sacrifice of self for comedy.
By the by, I'm loving all these blogs you've been doing over the last couple of days... Keep it up, I'm loving the comedy binge!
I love this! I always thanks AND say Preggo and it drives my brother nuts.
Oh, and I made my pictures Polaroid using Picasa 3. It's the free picture organizer/editor I use. It's a Google product, so it doesn't do anything crazy to your computer.
I really have had to censor my use of "retarded". I feel horrible about that too, especially since I know so many people with children with learning disabilities. Like how can I still think that way???!!! Really I am just thinking that something is stupid (and it usually isn't even a person), so I don't know why I don't just want to say that! Thankfully, the one person I tend to say it around the most is completely not offended even though you would think she would be. It must have to do with our ages....That's what you said when we were stupid ignorant kids about each other!
I always liked the way Doug Heffernan [Kevin James] said, "Shuttie!".
the other day i said, "sick". I was thinking 'awesome'. I felt kinda uncool, because i don't really pwn the word sick.. anyway.. it was sick tho.
filter?!? Oh you know us automotive guys, we take off all that unnecessary stuff. filters,
Catalytic Converters, emission controls.....
A filter wouldn't know what to do on me... i enjoy the shock and awe factor.
I should probably filter more than I do. I say what I think. And it's often blunt. I'd like to work on it, but I also like the idea of open communication.
Also this video might show the effect of filtering...
