Things I want to do this Halloween season...

I will not be making this. It scares me.
Make some mod podge pumpkins. If I actually do this, it will be a miracle. A Halloween miracle.

Watch The Changeling, Ghost Busters, and at least one other scary movie (haven't decided which yet). Oh, and at least one t.v. Halloween special.

Decide who to have a crush on this fall.

Eat candy corns. Side note: when I was growing up there was an attorney named "Larry Corn" who had some really cheesy commercials on t.v. As kids we thought it was hilarious to call candy corns "Larry Corns" and in my mind I still call them that.

Come up with a really good Halloween costume. Or not. I could go either way on this one.

Carve a pumpkin into something unexpected.

Put the past in the past. Fall is my most nostalgic time of year, for better or worse.

Find the Disney movie, "Mr. Boogedy" on dvd - or vhs, I'm not picky - and hope it's as good as I remember it. Know it's not going to be, and watch it anyway.

Tell me what you hope to do this season!

I like all of your Fall ideas - I need to add some of those to my list!! Melanie Grant and I may be going to a pumpkin patch this weekend (I skipped out last weekend to study). Our FHE group is planning some fun activities - we're doing a Halloween "carnival" with pumpkin carving, donut string contests, costumes and more. The following weekend we're going to the #1 rated haunted house here - I'm already scared out of my mind already!!

In addition to all of this, I want to bake my pumpkin seeds, rake leaves for service and jump in them, run outside more to enjoy the season, and prep myself to not eat so many Fall treats!

Watch "The Bride of Boogedy". Another classic.

Make the pumpkins at the beggining of your blog, I already stocked up on modge podge last week.

Already stocked me up on some Larry Corns too. The first handful is always delish, and then they feel like paste in my mouth. But there is nothing like that first handful.

Watch "Watcher in the Wood's". Maybe. That was really scary. Expecially the Nerak part.

I thought about doing that candy corn thing in the picture to my entire house, but that might be overkill, maybe i'll just do it to the doors. lol.

I sooo remember Mr. Boogedy. I need to find that for my kids to watch. I love all those old Disney movies. "Lady in White" is another good one to see.

Love the crush comment... definitely on my to do list:) I am also LOVING the modge podge pumpkins! I love your list of things to do... I have all the same except I still need to go to a cider mill! I am going to have to go after school or something, because I haven't had time!

Yes! I want to copy your list and do all of those things, too. I've been eating Larry Corns since early September and still can't get enough. YuM! I also went to Hell, which I think is a fall must. We should go there soon and play putt-putt!

My family grew up on Private Eyes with Don Knotts and Tim Curry. What a riot those two were. Of course it's a lot of boy humor.

Watched Food Network Challenge pumpkin carving. They make it look so easy. Looking forward to Halloween and Scotty's Birthday. Great season!

Sorry to be picky but does Ghostbusters count as a scary movie? I always have it pegged it as a comedy but what do I know…

As for what we are doing for fall, we are off cycling in Cuba and I’m guessing they don’t go big on Halloween……

P.S. Looking forward to finding out what you do unexpectedly with a pumpkin.....Just make sure it is legal....

haha, BlackLOG, I was wondering if anyone was going to call me out on that! You're right, Ghost Busters is not scary at all. Except for that first scene at the library. I usually close my eyes for that part. ;) But it is definitely more of a comedy than a scary movie. It's just that I only watch it around Halloween. :)

Have fun in Cuba! I don't think I've ever known anyone who's vacationed in Cuba!

I've always wanted to play putt-putt in Hell. You can't pay me enough to watch "Lady in White" again. The word Nerak in "Watcher in the Woods" was scary but not as terrifying as when the clown head pops up on the screen with everybody in the movie screaming. I never failed to shriek at that. Still have to get out to the cider mill and get a warm donut! And of course some cider. Hopefully no bee stings.

"Boogedy, just kidding just kidding, Boodedy!" I think I remember that, or maybe my memory has made things up over the years. I think I should just stay away from some movies that were scary as a kid... then again I think I'd rather watch clue, but that is just a comedy, and a riot if you just want to skip to the ends.

"First, remember when I said I could never be a hipster? Well, I was called one the other day just because I was wearing a scarf and holding an iPhone. I don't think that's enough though- do you?

Don't worry any chance of you falling into being hispter by holding an iPhone went out the window when you put on the scarf....Oh, I see you were wearing the scarf to cover up the girly mustache. Hmmm, with a girly mustache I fear you are now heading back into hipster mode....Sorry, I just call them as I see them
