We now interrupt our coverage of the swine flu...

I need your help! Sarah and I need good work out music suggestions. You know, songs that make you want to keep running even when your muscles are killing you and you actually want to quit.

To get things started, here are some of my current favorite work out songs. I am in no way claiming that these songs are "cool." In fact, I'm well aware that I shouldn't be putting some of these out there and that some are downright embarrassing.

Spoonman - Soundgarden
E-Pro - Beck
White Wedding - Billy Idol
Solo en ti - Enrique Iglesias
GNO - Miley Cyrus (yeah, one for the "why am I admitting this" category. But it has a good beat!)
Kashmir or Black Dog - Led Zeppelin
Like a Prayer - Madonna
Disturbia - Rihanna

If you have any you'd be willing to share, that would be great! Oh, and we're open to pretty much all genres, except maybe Chocolate Rain (Justin).

I've never felt better than I do when I'm running to Chocolate Rain. I'm usually cracking up when I'm running and this song comes on. People driving by must be wondering what is wrong with me. There's something about it though that makes me run faster...

One of my favorites for running. It's my power song:
Hum Hallelujah - Fallout Boy

I'm exited to see what suggestions you get! Here are some of my faves:

Fighter (Christina Aguilera
Crazy in Love (Beyonce)
Wannabe (Spice Girls...don't judge. I LOVE that song.)
SOS (Rihanna)
Lets Get it Started (Black Eyed Peas)
You Can't Hurry Love (The Supremes)
When I Come Around (Green Day)
It Just Takes Some Time (Jimmy Eat World)

Don't worry Elizabeth, I've got you covered. With these songs, you'll be able to run as fast and long as you want. I recommend Go Ninja by Vanilla Ice, Sweet Caroline by Neal Diamond, and of course, the Mario Brother's theme song, in the original Nintendo beeping style. Trust me, these are sure things.

Sweet Caroline!? I'm dying, Mike. That's hilarious! The others are great too. So funny.

I don't think you have to "like" the music you work out to- it just has to make you want to move. :)

Cake always makes me want to move though I don't know how well it would work for working out.

You might need to throw some BSB or Nsync into the mix to really pump things up...

WOOHOO! I'm so excited to go update my playlist! I recently have found that "Ain't No Other Man" by Christina Aguilera is totally upbeat, and so is "Enough Cryin'" by Mary J. Blige. Actually, that second one isn't necessarily upbeat, but the beat is good for running!

When my sister ran a marathon, she asked for playlist suggestions and I told her "Rock Lobster" by the B52s. She said that was a great pick-me-up song.

I like to snowboard to The Ramones - you might try running to "Sheena is a Punk Rocker".

So here are my embarrassing contributions:

Stronger - Britney Spears
All over You - Spill Canvas
Welcome to the World - Kevin Rudolf

I'll try to think of more!

ok, so i'm not gonna lie. some of my best workout tunes... pretty much the entire blackout album by britney spears. and there are several on her circus album, too... i've also enjoyed working out to some of the songs from the Legally Blonde musical soundtrack (positive, bend and snap, whipped into shape and what you want).
i agree with the BEP suggestion of Pump it. and i also like will.i.am's where'd ya get that body from.
i've also had lots of success with Save Ferris tunes...
ok, those are just off the top of my head, but i know there are more...
