To start out, my sisters and I did something we'd never done before: a craft show! I saw it as a way to thin my inventory. I love crafting, and go through different crafting phases. The tree phase, the button phase, the painting phase, and so forth. So I brought a little of each to the craft show. Here are a few pictures.
Turns out the craft show was a bit of a bust. It hadn't been advertised well so there was very little foot traffic. Still, it was a fun experience, and we did sell a few things. Plus, I got to spend half a day just talking and laughing with my sisters.
The best part of the craft show was that Santa was there! He asked me what I wanted for Christmas. He caught me off guard so I just said the first thing that came to mind: a husband. He laughed and said, "GOOD LUCK!" But you guys, he didn't say it in an encouraging way. Thanks for nothing, Santa.
Later in the day I went to a Christmas party/dance. It was a grand time, but I don't care to share any stories about it in this forum. I figure if I keep what happened there a mystery, you'll think "hm.... something really interesting must have happened there!!!" Right? That's what you think, right?
When I got home, I finally got to change into sweats and my brand spanking new Back to the Future shirt. I tried getting a picture of myself in it but couldn't get the whole design in, so I had someone else take one too. Here you go:
Still had my fancy hair and earrings going. Looks silly. |
You guys, I love Back to the Future so much. When I saw this shirt, I knew I had to have it. Doc Brown makes me laugh so hard, and he basically set the time travel laws that I expect all movies and tv shows to follow. He wrote the book on time travel, is what I'm trying to say. I have a lot more I could say about Back to the Future, but I'll save that for another post.
I think what I'm really trying to say is that it's time for bed. Until tomorrow....

I agree, the craft fair wasn't well advertised! I only knew about it because of you guys! And I just have to comment on the Christmas party--what a party! You're right, I just wouldn't know where to start if I were to talk about it here. But you looked great :)
The craft show was amazing. My favorite parts include: Santa offering you his pen in lieu of a husband; the pulled pork sandwiches; beating your butts at Phase ten dice; the Christmas music; the 31 stalker guy who was pretty insistant that you buy a purse; the guy who was dancing a jig to the music and chillin' with you ladies.
Love you shirt too. The first thing that went through my mind was "1.21 gigwatts." Is that even right? I havent' seen those in a while.
