I feel that in honor of my 1,000th post, I need to do something special. But what? I've come up with a few ideas - let me know which you think would be best! Or if you can think of something better!
- Eat 1,000 jellybeans.
- Hula hoop 1,000 times.
- Hula hoop and eat jellybeans at the same time (that was my coworker, Justin's idea).
- Post some really embarrassing pictures of me (I'd be taking some of you down with me in the process since you're in some of these pictures - keep that in mind).
- Tell you 1,000 things about me.
- Spend the night in a haunted house.
- Tell you about my secret crush.
- Do a give-away.
- Send you all a postcard (but I've done that before).
- Legally change my name to the highest corporate bidder.
- Move to where ever my finger lands on the globe after spinning it with my eyes closed.
- Write a post with exactly 1,000 words.
- Choose my top ten favorite posts and explain why.
- Come up with a five year plan (this is completely unrelated to my blog, but is something I should probably do).
So what do you think? How should I celebrate my 1,000th post?

I like the idea of 1000 jelly beans since I'm currently eating the supermegareducedprice after Easter jelly beans. But also 1000 things about yourself should definitely win. Hands down. Done.
If limited to the above list, I'd definitely pick 'Spent the night in a haunted house.' There is only one caveat: You MUST make sure that Adam Rokas stays there with you (sleeping on the floor, of course).

Wow, a 1000 posts! That's so awesome. you definitely have to do something special. And those are some great ideas. Hmm, but which one? My favorites are;
-1000 things about you
-Spend the night in a haunted house(only if I can tag along)
-Do a give away (only if I'd be sure to receive)
Or there's always the option to write an entire post about me. Seriously think about it.

Wow, that is an incredible milestone! I think you should buy yourself something pretty with 1,000 pennies! :)
I would suggest top 10 posts. But I would maybe try to capture the top post from each year (I don't know how many years you've been blogging, but if it's been since 2007 or something you could do top 2 posts each year) so you could see what interesting stuff was going on each year.
I think 1000 things about you would be fun, but if I were doing it I would probably need more than a day to come up with 1000 things...
Eating the 1000 jelly beans might just put you in a sugar coma.
I think top 10 posts. I'd suggest the jelly beans and hula hooping but feel like somehow I'd get roped into doing that with you, and that's not happening, so... (The same reasoning applies to the photos - I know I'd be going down with you there.) YAY 1,000!!!
Cover your Top 10 in 1000 words! But don't keep us in the dark about any beaus you have on the side. Before you know it you'll have 1000 followers! I never tire of all you have to say!
