I have so many thoughts about dating lately, I don't even know where to begin. Are you tired of dating posts? Be ready later this week for some dating Q and A. Or least, attempts at A's. But probably mostly Q's. So start thinking about A's because I need them. (Confused yet?)
But since today is Wednesday, I'll keep it light.
So, you know how much I love James Franco, right? But as far as celebrity crushes are concerned, the Rock is totally next in line. Yes, I know - all of his acting is done with his eyebrows. But come on. I watched part of the Tooth Fairy last night and became smitten once again with the Rock. (No, I didn't just sigh.)
Oh no. I was just looking for an image from the Tooth Fairy to go along with this post and found some posters that say things like, "The tooth hurts" and "You can't handle the tooth." It was almost enough to turn against the movie. Awful, just awful. I'm still going to finish that movie tonight though. And I can pretty much guarantee I'm going to love it.
You know, when I started this post, I had no idea is was going to turn into some kind of stalker post about the Rock. I better turn this baby around before it's too late.
Have you guys seen this video of Salma Hayek's snake freak out? I'd have to highly recommend it. I'm scared of snakes too but I'm not "Salma Hayek scared of snakes."
Ok, here's my last thought. I found this amazing brownie recipe on someone's blog recently. It calls for 1 package of low fat brownie mix, 1 can of black beans (rinsed then pureed with one cup of water) and chocolate chips. Did you catch the black beans in there? Let me tell you, these brownies are divine. Trust me. You would never know they have black beans in them. Do you have a recipe with a secret healthy ingredient in it? Please share!
Happy Wednesday.

I've heard the black bean brownies are outrageous! : ) happy wednesday!
You still read bbl! me too! I think I am going to make those brownies today!
Kara.... that is hilarious. I love it.
Where is that recipe? I definitely want to share it! :) And I've never seen "The Tooth Fairy," but do adore The Rock! :)
Saw the tooth fairy, cheesy, but fun. I'm secretly smitten. Dimples, muscles... I guess not so secret now.
Here's the brownie recipe:
1 box Betty Crocker low fat Brownie mix
1 can black beans
1 bag chocolate chips (optional)
Strain and rinse the beans then put them in a blender with one cup of water. Puree in blender. Then add the bean/water mixture to the brownie mix. Add chocolate chips then if desired. Then you just bake them according the the box instructions. No eggs or oil or anything! :) They're sooo good. Especially when they're warm.
i snuck a little bite of them this morning while at Ma and Pa's. Still deeelish!
When I make mac and cheese for the kids i put some frozen carrot bites in and it's way better.
Geez, Salma! Calm the heck down!! She was screaming bloody murder!! Yeesh.
Moving on, I watched "The Game Plan" starring The Rock yesterday and was equally re-smitten! Muscles like that plus the dimples and smile? Yowza!! I wonder if I put a kernel of corn under my pillow The Rock would come? (You know, 'cause that's how kids used to think they could trick the tooth fairy into coming...)
3 things:
1) i love your layout! i never see it because i read your blog in google reader, but it's very eye-catching.
2) i saw that brownie recipe and am eager to try it. i want to sucker robert into eating one since he hates beans more than almost anything on this green earth.
3) plans changed and i won't be back to ann arbor until july 2. will you be in town that weekend?
Hey Sandy!
1) Thanks!
2) Let me know how Operation Fool Robert goes. I hope your evil plan works. ;)
3) I might be up north but if I'm not, I would LOVE to see you. I'll be in touch!
Oh my heck that video is hilARious!! I wonder how I would have reacted in that situation - hopefully not like a screaming chimp!!
My brother is obsessed with wwf and all that wrestling jazz. I've seen the good, the bad, and the ugly sides of the rock - he's still pretty charming if you ask me!
Oh my goodness, Salma's reaction is nothing compared to what mine would have been! You would have had to call an old priest and a young priest . . .
I made black bean brownies a few weeks ago. They did not turn out great, I don't think I puréed the beans enough. It seems to me that when it comes to baking I have the Midas touch. If by Midas touch I mean everything I bake turns to crap.
