In case you were wondering

I love writing with freshly sharpened pencils. Why do they have such a short life span?

I can't pronounce the word beleaguered. I listen closely but I always forget.

I miss Hootie and the Blowfish. I was indifferent to Hootie when they were out, but now when I hear them on the radio I feel waves of nostalgia wash over me. I have no idea why.

I can't stand Speidi. As far as I can see, they have no redeeming qualities. If you need further evidence, click here.

I can never figure out whodunnit in an Agatha Christi mystery. My mind is blown at the end of every single book.

I don't get the appeal of either Leonardo DiCaprio or Tom Cruise. Never have, never will.

I'm uncomfortable with the use of the word "heart" to replace "love" as in, "I heart chocolate cake." I think this is because an ex-boyfriend once wrote in a card to me, "I heart you" which led to much confusion on my part. Just say what you mean.

I'm scared of using a neti pot, but I think I'm going to try it.

I don't trust spring. You're hot then you're cold... Just be straight with me! I need three different outfits of varying warmth just to get through a day!

I am happiest in Ludington. And when I'm watching Lost. And when I'm with friends and family. And when I know I can sleep in. And when I have a crush. And when it's 4:00 on a weekday.

I secretly love cheesy 80's movies like "For Richer or Poorer" and "Troupe Beverly Hills." (Not so secretly anymore.)

I never eat anything without thinking about the number of calories it has. I'll often eat it anyway. But guiltily.

I'm afraid this post will seem vain. But I'm going to post it anyway.

I can't resist soaking in the sun on the rare occasions when it shows itself. And babies. And pizza. But not necessarily in that order.

But enough about me. Tell me about you!

Ditto on the pencils and Speidi.

I used to be in LOVE with Leo when he was on Growing Pains. And then I went through the whole Titanic phase. But now, I don't understand what I was thinking. Tom Cruise will always have a special place among my celebrity crushes. It's the smile.

I do have something that might shock you. I've kept silent on the matter so far. I don't get the James Franco appeal......does this mean that we're officially in a fight?

This didn't seem vain at all. I always love posts like this that help me get to know someone better. We have many things in common. I also like a box of new crayons and really get upset when the point is no longer flat:)

Yeah, as far as celebrity crushes go, MY weak spot is Brad Pitt! I know, I know, EVERYBODY and their sister LOVES Brad Pitt.....but I don't care!..... I'm ALL ABOUT jumpin` on that band wagon! Wooh!

I'm with you on the pencils. Bethany got me an electronic pencil sharpener for our first anniversary, and I was in heaven.

Mmmmm... Bouquets of sharpened pencils... Sigh! I agree with what Kathy said about Leo, but I have never been a Tom Cruise fan. Ugh. I also love Ludington and being with the Fam! And I felt nauseated when watching that clip of Speidi...they're the worst!! I'm with you on Agatha, too-she's tricky!
I love painting and eating chocolate and a good RomCom from time to time (though I actually dislike the appellation "RomCom"...it just felt appropriate here) and sunny days and thunderstorms and puppies, among other things.
I dislike deadlines and dusty apartments and finals and whiny people and noisy neighbors, among other things!

And a fresh clean notebook to go with those freshly sharpened pencils. mmmm...school supplies are yummy.

I don't watch speidi and refuse to follow anything about them. American idol is enough reality drama for me and at least they have some talent.

I don't get the attraction of Brad Pitt. He looks like a monkey. Leonardo has not aged well.

I learned to rotate my pencil in 8th grade drafting class to use the lead more evenly and keep the point longer. I still do it automatically, every time I write, even if I'm using a pen!

I think Leo has gotten better with age, while Tom is still playing the same role he did 20 years ago. Neither make me wish I looked like them. Kurt Russell, on the other hand...

I think it's funny when little kids call me Jesus and their parents are embarrassed.

I ♥ proper grammar.

I'm sorry but Tom Cruise is creepy and a little on the crazy side I'm afraid. I can't see what the attraction is for Brad Pitt either, but Kurt Russell on the other hand.... and Ludington for sure, be there or be square.

Robert Downey Jr. (not because of the name similarity)and Jeff Bridges. Chocolate and books. The beauty of nature - especially flowers. And family.

I loved this post! Babies and pizza go great together! Ahh, you're the best, Elizabeth. If I knew how to do the heart icon, I would insert it here: I (heart) Elizabeth!!

Mark, you crack me up with your Jesus comment - it's so true! Miss you guys. :(

Never liked Leo, Tom is too short and has such a big nose! Kurt Russel & Sean Connery have always had my heart and I'm liking Robert Downey Jr more and more with each movie. Just watched Sherlock and LOVED it! I used to date a guy who was a dead ringer for the male lead in Princess Bride, but only in looks so I dumped him. heehee
I love trees especially, the twisted pines, dogwoods trees, red maples trees and anything that has a flower!

I thought mark was Jesus the first time I met him too. I was sort of embaressed.J/k! Miss you Mark!

Things that drive me crazy are when people shorten other people's names when they don't really know them. Another is (katherine get's this one) when people have socks on, but they are really loose on their feet or are hanging off the ends of the toes ..yyyiikes. I've got the heebie jeebie just writing it. It drives me CRAZY! I have to look away.

I love Ludington and chocolate and when little kids fart and then laugh really hard.

I love the neti pot. It really works. Mix warm water with a bit of salt (just a bit) and then presto you're all clear and ready to go. Instead of an actual neti pot, I used a cider cup shaped like an apple with a little spout. My niece got it at Kapnick's one fall. Embarrassing - yes! But when when it's spring and you have allergies and the giant cottonwood in your backyard is shedding you do what you have to to make it through. Bomb.com!

We can try it when I am home in June. I think I have an extra apple cider cup for you to use.

I love the smell of old books! e.g the stacks at the Grad. It make me feel like I am back in the day :D

I love to hear people speaking French even though I don't understand what they are saying. It is to cool!

I don't like Leo or Cruise either! Ugh!!

I never understood the hype over Jennifer Aniston or Brittney Spears. They're alright I guess. I've never felt like putting a poster of them up in my locker or anything like that. But Tom Cruise on the other hand... what a HUNK!
By the way, did your friend ever find the "cupcake" mix?
I "heart" that feeling of nostalgia I get when I hear certain songs. For me it's "Is This Love" by Whitesnake, "I Want to Know What Love Is" by Foreigner and "What's Love Got to do With It" by Tina Turner. Or any R&B from the 90's. Wierd huh?

By the way, the word I have to verify in order to post to this blog is bubducha. I thought that was funny. Not in a "ha ha" sort of way but more in a "that's funny" sort of way.
