Friday Thoughts

Due to some Kix-related drama this week, I never got around to writing Wednesday Thoughts (which I suspect may be running its course). But I figure today is a good day to do some updates and some random thoughts (which is what W. Thoughts is usually for).

First and foremost, Ann suspects fraud in the voting process for the Kix poll. She's accused people of double voting on multiple computers, and suggested I demand that people who voted "yes" explain themselves. I, myself, voted yes and explained that my reasoning is that I think "kid-tested" is supposed to imply that the kids also approve. She didn't accept this.

For my Lost friends - what did you guys think of Lost this week? Also, if you haven't checked out the Lost Diary yet, you should. It's pretty funny and gives a good recap every week. I have a million and one questions for the writers of Lost, but there is one that I really, really want answered: What is the Smoke Monster and who controls it? When are they going to answer this!?

Moving on...due to the fact that one of you sent me a virus (kidding), I've had to sit at a certain skipper (who shall not be named)'s desk all morning while my computer is being de-bugged. This wouldn't be bad except that said skipper has one of these chairs:

Suffice it to say, it's been an interesting morning. I'm just trying not to pop it, as another co-worker did to his ball chair. He let his arm drop with a pencil in his hand and, POP! Hmm...come to think of it, maybe I should take all those push pins out of my pocket as a precaution.

Last thought of the morning: how old is too old to have a celebrity crush? Do you have one?

It sounds to me like someone is having a hard time with the reality of losing the Kix controversy....

I can't get used to you sitting next to me in the skipper's chair. I suppose now that I said that, everyone knows who the skipper is. Oops. Maybe the skipper sent the virus, and that's why he's out for a couple of days.

And I believe that you're never too old for a celebrity crush. You'll be much happier if you just embrace the fact that you are in love with Nick Jonas.

I voted yes on the Kix controversy, and my logic was the same as yours. Kids test kix everyday when they eat them for breakfast, and I'm sure that the because they keep eating it for breakfast after that first test bowl, their mothers approve.
And that chair is awesome. Reminds me of the episode of the office when Jim stabs Dwights ball chair with the scissors.

Celeb Crush? Hmmm...I'm so turned off and tuned out as of late that I don't think I've been interested in anything. Back in '02 I liked Tiger Woods.

First of all, i am the only person apparently that had never seen this sort of chair before. Is it real? They really make chairs like that? Strange...
Also, I watch this show called "Legend of the Seeker" and the main guy on it "Richard" is way good looking. Watch it. I promise you won't be let down. Especially if there is a scene without his shirt on. Sawyer's got nothin on this guy.

I love imagining you sitting on this chair. How was it?

Being the klutz that I am, I'd fall right out of that chair. I'd fall over just walking TO it.
You're never to old to have a celebrity crush. Mine is Gerard Butler. Can't he just realize that we're meant to be together already??
Oh, and I control the Smoke Monster. It's true.

Celeb crushes are acceptable at every stage of life. For me, it started with Joey McIntyre, and will continue every time another hottie emerges, or resurfaces. :) Current celeb crush: Bradley Cooper...those eyes...my oh my! :)

celebucrushes are absolutely OK and normal! I heart John Krasinski, ain't gonna lie. And whilst Alias was on, I also loved Michael Vartan and Bradley Cooper. Just sayin.

That has got to be the coolest chair, but sadly it would be way too much work for me.
