Post-date reflections

After a date, women experience a wide variety of emotions ranging from, "ugh, I'll never get that night of my life back," to dancing around the kitchen humming "So this is love" from Cinderella. (We've all done that, right? Yeah... me neither.)

I thought it would be fun to do a little scale of post-date reflections that I have experienced. I think most of my dates have ranged in the 3-8 range, but I've had some on the ends of the scale too, for better or worse.

We'll start with the bad dates and work our way up:

1. I'm going to die alone.
2. Wait till my friends hear about this one!
3. Maybe my expectations are too high.
4. At least I got a free dinner out of that.
5. I think I'd enjoy a second date with him.
6. I hope he got the hint when I touched his forearm.
7. How soon is too soon to text him?
8. Our kids would be adorable.
9. I can't believe how amazing he is.
10. I miss him already.

Do you have any to add? Where do your dates typically fall?

And yes guys, we always think about what our kids would look like if we married you. Just don't worry about it. It doesn't necessarily mean we want to marry you - we're just thinking ahead.

P.S. Keep those pictures coming!

I don't date, so I can't add to this.

Sorry, my ex-bf is getting married today, so I'm letting myself be a little depressed.

That's a great and inclusive list, Elizabeth!

I might add this one to this list (this one would definitely fall at the top somewhere):
Practicing writing your first name with his last name.

Does anyone else do that besides me??

I hummed "Do I love you because your're wonderful?" from the Rogers and Hammerstein Cinderella.

1. Why did she keep touching my arm? Do I have lint on my jacket?

2. The folks really liked me. Next time I think I'll just hang out with her dad and watch football.

3. Wow, when I look in the mirror, I really can see the outline of a woman's hand on my face.
