I've searched my whole desk, and the floor around my desk, but to no avail. This is what it looks like:

In other thoughts, it's already Wednesday. Four day work weeks are the best. Here are some random thoughts for today:
* I've been reading a lot lately - what is one of the best books you've read in the past few years? What's your favorite "summer read"? I'll be back with my own recommendations soon.
* Amanda Bynes. That girl needs to get it together. She has lost it.
* I watched the first episode of the new season of Arrested Development last night and loved it. George Michael is awesome. I won't say anything else in case you haven't seen it! I was originally planning on devouring the whole new season in one sitting, but now I'm thinking about stretching it out. What about you? All at once or stretched out?
* No but seriously, where's my pen!?
Happy Wednesday!
* I mean, not really of course. Jeez.

Hope you find your pen...I TOTALLY get it!! I've discovered a new author, Robert Dugoni. He writes books like John Grisham used to - legal thrillers. I'm on the 3rd book. Actually, it is #1; I just read #3 and #4 of the series. His main character is a lawyer named David Sloane. #2 is next, until #5 comes out on June 12th. Good reads!!!
I've decided to re watch all of the Arrested Development before I watch the new ones so don't say anything. :)
We have a few candy cane pens around here I think, unless they got run down. you can always have one of ours if you can't find yours.
Your pen! Too sad. I suspect the guy you pulled the April Fool's joke on :).
I took it.
Erin gave it to me after she took it and I think it's with the Christmas decorations.
I feel bad about Amanda Bynes. She always seemed really together compared to some of the other teen stars...
Almost done with Arrested Development and based on the storyline, I would say it works better if you watch them quickly. But maybe that's just me.
HA!! I'm sorry you lost/had your pen stolen. It's a sad, sad world when candy cane pens go missing willy-nilly. I think I also have a spare if you can't find yours. (And no, it's not yours!!) (I swear I didn't steal it!!)
I'm with you on stretching out Arrested Development. Makes it last longer that way.
As for books, I'm currently re-reading The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, and I LOVE it. Maybe not so much your kind of book (but it's SO well-written)!
