Dispute

What time do you think this card says? The receptionist at my appointment and I disagreed. I'm going to put up a poll with some options. In a day or two, I'll tell you what she thought. I think you might be surprised. I know I was.

Apparently it was for either 5:00 am OR pm. Very clear...

Is 5:W an option?

That's what I thought, Brady. Then when I showed up at 5:W, they said I was late!! ;)

Hmm, it kind of looks like 5:20 to me, but that wasn't an option. I'm really curious to hear the whole story!

I see 8/25 at 5:00 pm (I'm assuming no one has a 5:00 am appointment)? She's not saying it's "am" is she? I'll come back to see what the disputes about...:)

Hope you're having a happy day!

Is there such a thing as cursive numbers that I missed in school? What is that?

I voted for 5:00 because that is what I first thought.

I'd guess 5:00 pm, but she's obviously been studying to be a doctor... 'course, in my posts you can't see my atrocious handwriting!

if you were late then it must be 5:00pm

now is that Elizabecl?

AN admirer from the distance. ;)

Haha, yes, Anonymous - I spell my name with a Ch. It's very unusual but I think it makes me stand out. ;)

Actually, now that I think about it, I think the last syllable of my name would be a swear word if I did spell it with a C.... or at least, too close for comfort.

I'll go with 5:W, too. And I think that the receptionist should have been nicer. When we go to the doctor we are already in pain, either from the treatment or from the anticipation of the bill.

I just polled two other people, and they said 5:20, and inventively, "five butt o'clock". :)

Elizabech & all of the above times would fit. Take your pick. Eenie, Meenie, Minie, Mo... ~Jan
