Informer

I'm sitting here with so much on my mind, and yet not able to really write about any of it in ye olde blog. Not to worry though, eventually things will come out in vague terms and we'll be up to date. But that's not what I'm going to blog about tonight. I'm sitting here with Indian Outlaw in my head hating life because you know when something like Indian Outlaw gets in your head, it aint getting out.

The same thing happened to me last week. I couldn't get "Informer" out of my head. Don't get me wrong, Informer obviously rocks (insert sarcasm font here). But what are the lyrics!? It's so frustrating! Best I can tell, "Snow" is singing,

"Informer, you know so snow going be slogokieioaicn be blam, a licky boom boom now."

Nailed it. You could pretty much sing anything and claim it's right. Here's a link if you need a refresher but be warned - you will not be able to get it out of your head!

I was talking to a friend about it and he sent me a link to this website called "Unhear it (link)." I checked it out and what it is is a playlist you can listen to to get the original song out of your head. The bad news is that the songs on this playlist are as bad, if not worse, as the song you had in your head to begin with. For example, after listening to it for a bit, the songs I heard were: "You Spin me Right Round," "Barbie Girl," "Too Sexy," and "Who Let The Dogs Out."

What song do you have stuck in your head now? You're welcome.

HILARIOUS! This post is the best. :) "Nailed it." HA! Except for "You Spin Me Right Round" being in my head now. Ugh. I went to that site once and got "Iko Iko" in my head. Not cool.
I think my favorite part about this post was you reading it to me over the phone. I know you can't do that for all of your readers, but it made it that much better!! HA!! :)

I torture Andy with Don Quixote's To dream the impossible dream, just to be a pill every once in a while. So funny!

Pretty simple. The reason why Informer is so effective is not because of it's lyrical content or melody, but the fact that Snow has been and still is one of the most influencial singers/rapper/actors of our generation (insert sarcasm font here).

I basically am a blogger now. I am currently listening to Barbie Girl and loving every second of it. "Imagination, life is your creation"

When I saw the title of this post I thought, "I hope it's about that awesome song by Snow, but that's so unlikely." Great surprise to start my day.

I rarely get the chance to listen to the radio, but the other day I did and I got that song by katie perry about going "all the way tonight". It got stuck in my head. Not something you can bust out singing in the grocery store. I tried everything to get it out of my head and then thought,I ll watch glee and that will definatly get something else in my head. Boy was I surprised when some private school boys SANG THAT SONG! I sat with my mouth hanging open in shock. Then I proceeded to look around to make sure it wasn't some candid camera thing.
Btw:your welcome if that's now in your head.

The only thing worse than "You Spin Me Right Round" in your head is having it in your head and not knowing the words (except the ones in the title). I feel like I'm in "The Wedding Singer". But Adam Sandler's hair is more modern in my version.

is there something wrong with me since as soon as I saw the word "informer" with a music note next to it in the preview pain of blogger, I had the snow song pop into my head! It probably doesn't help that this song does have some historical significance to me being that it was part of the dance montage that I did in college as a part of "has beens on tour" skit we did for greek week talent show. Oh, and that montage had Barbie Girl in it too. I am just waiting for the video of that sucker to pop up on youtube somewhere. Scary, I am sure.

I had the Proclaimers – I’m gonna be (500 miles) running about my head, which is OK as I don’t mind the song and it’s un-cool enough to be cool. Although thanks to your post “I’m too sexy”and “Barbie girl” are double teaming it and trying to break in…”Un-hear it” sounds like a terrible idea like cutting your head off to get rid of that headache……

“I’m gonna be - too sexy for my - Barbie doll…..” Aaaaarrrrggghhhhh
