Real?

What do you think? Is this picture real or not? Kathy and I so no, that it's a fake goat. Justin is totally convinced that it's real.

Justin's argument: "That guy doesn't look like he's kidding. I can see his profile, and he looks serious." And, "do they even make fake goats?"

Kathy's argument: "I had goats when I was growing up, and they never tried to ride on my back."

My argument: "How could a goat hang on!?"

Cast your vote on the poll on the side! And let us know your reasoning.

I'm not going to be believe that is fake until you find me a fake goat of that size. Elizabeth, you don't think a real goat could hang on like that, but a fake goat could?!?!

Maybe it's a small child in a goat's costume. I'm willing to go with that...

Unfortunately I think Justin may be right. BUT, my little goat really never tried to ride on my back....

I don't want to be more of a downer than usual, but my bummer of a guess is that it's real and the goat's legs are tied together so it doesn't have a choice in the matter.

The Stroller Fail a little further down the page on Failblog made me cackle, I should note.

it is real and the back and front legs are tied together. It seems to me that it would be easier to tie the goat around like a belt but what do I know

I think it's real. It looks like it's heading to this guys home for dinner. Have you seen the way animals are treated and carted around for food? "Our Daily Bread" can be found on YouTube. Don't look it up unless you really want to see how some animals are treated.

After conferring with my colleagues at Moo-U (I actually work in the Moo part of the university), the consensus was the following:

1. The goat is real

2. The goat is tied on

3. The goat is going home for dinner

Now if I had a goat peeking over my shoulder, I would want it muzzled. Goats are herbivores, but in the situation, my ear might prove to be too tempting to resist.

I think it may be real now after reading the comments above but with photoshop and other things, you now never really know. Like that pic of that guy being lifted up in a helicopter while a shark jumps unto his leg, fake but cool looking.

Yeah, I also voted for "real," figuring that its legs were tied around the dude. Guess next time I bike to the store to buy chicken I'd better bring some rope...or a backpack.

i think the goat is real. look at the guy on the side walk. It looks like he has some white thing around his neck, maybe they are the arms of a big white cat he's carrying?
