iPod Confessions

Like most humans with the ability to hear, I love music. I have a wide variety of tastes in music, and have a really hard time categorizing my taste. If I had to, I'd say, "All, but only a little country."

I was looking at my iPod and saw some wild inconsistencies in my tastes. I have something like eight or nine hundred songs downloaded, so there's no way I could go over the list that closely - no one has time for that. But I scrolled through my ipod (phone) and made some lists in case you are REALLY bored today!

Please especially take note of the second group if you're looking for new music.

Top 7 most embarrassing finds:

I still love "To Be with You", too. and JELLYFISH! I don't think I recognized any of your "must listen to" songs, at least by their titles. My favorite bands/singers are: The Everly Brothers, PP&M, Simon and Garfunkel, the Beatles, Bread, Gary Puckett and the Union Gap, and Ricky Nelson.

Ini Kamoze - Here Comes the Hotstepper
Justin Bieber - Baby (and Boyfriend...)

This post makes me want to explore a career in forensic iPod analysis of random music tastes. lol

I must check out some of these songs!!!
what popped out at me -
Really? Bed intruder song? I have to listen to that!
I thought Horchata was a south american beverage not a song.
Hilarious that you have the theme song from Courtship with Eddie's Father. I loved that show! Remember the doll? It looked very similar to Kitty Carry-all, Cindy Brady's favorite doll.

This morning I heard an oldie from Cutting Crew on the radio (Died in your arms) and wondered how I've gone this long without adding it to my ipod.

A random winter boredom project could include weaving a story (or blog post) using just the titles of the songs from your own ipod. Something like this....

Doctor Feelgood, Shake the disease.
Spoonman, I'll die without you. All I want, to be with you.
Cornflake girl, fall on me, find the river. It's tricky that sabotage.
Bed intruder, I gotta a feeling down closer to the heart.
Happy snowbird, take me to church for the truckstop gospel wild child. Don't stop me now Tapioca Tundra.
Hey brother, domino man, don't stop me now, all the girls are complicated. Dance me to the end of love, love of mine. Still, hands in my pockets simple girl. My style is a simple girl, not a wild child. Just want some Horchata!

See, it could be so good for a party game to do a ipod mad libs concatenation!

At the end of the day, I wish I took the time to even listen to my ipods. haha
